Work Experience
- Fine
Arts
Over the last twenty years I have worked as a printmaker, photographer, computer
artist, 3D animator, and interactive media designer. My latest artwork is
focused on computer manipulated digital photography and ceramics. I have broad experience
in the visual arts, supporting myself
or supplementing my income through sales of my work. I have a wide
knowledge of global artistic styles and traditions, and stay current with trends
in the art world.

My exhibition
and gallery experience includes promoting and exhibiting my own artwork,
establishing and managing three art galleries, founding a successful large scale
non-profit Open Studio Tour, and curating art exhibitions for other
organizations.
Williams
Gallery West maintains a permanent inventory of American and International fine
art and folk art, vintage prints, photography, jewelry, ceramics, and art glass,
and features a number of special exhibitions each year.
The
gallery also offers appraisal and brokerage services for fine art, folk art, and
collectibles. The gallery operates using a click-and-mortar business model.
Our sales resources include our gallery showroom, an established web
site, and in-depth knowledge of on-line auction
services.

ARTSPACE is a cooperative art gallery where members have a vested
interest in the gallery, contributing to expenses in exchange for the regular
display of their work. The goal of Artspace is to create an environment
where artists work together, inspire and support each other, and have the
opportunity to collaborate on joint projects and exhibitions.
Artspace offers a delightful
selection of photography, prints, ceramics, and sculpture by nine local artists.
Stellar
Gallery is dedicated to providing its patrons with the best in contemporary fine
art including photography, painting, prints, sculpture, art glass, and ceramics.
The gallery offers
works by many of the West Coast’s best fine art photographers including David
Ashcraft, Charles Cramer, Steve Dzerigian, Richard Garrod, Jeff Grandy, Joseph
Holmes, and Heidi Vetter. The
gallery carries other works as well including art glass by Christian Guenther,
ceramics by Richard Moore and Ken Foster, sculpture by Helen Banks, and digital
art by Jonathan Bock.
Sierra
Art Trails is a non-profit Open
Studio Tour featuring over 100 artists and artisans, currently encompassing
ten communities in Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties. Over the last
three years I have been responsible for laying the foundation of this
long-tern annual community oriented art exhibit designed to promote working
artists, and to establish a reputation for the region as an arts
destination. My duties include managing an independent planning
committee responsible for organizing and implementing the event, fundraising,
advertising, establishing show guidelines, and curating the event. The
show has proven itself to be financially viable, and proceeds from the event
have resulted in over 5000.00 in art scholarships since 2003. Sierra Art
Trails is in its 4th year and has become the most anticipated art event in the
region.
